For some sixty years, Chicco has been actively helping to make parents’ daily lives easier and to bring babies more comfort and safety. The brand’s goal is to create innovative solutions that meet all the needs of parents and children through every stage of development.
In 1958, Pietro Catelli, an expert in the distribution of medical products, decided to create a company devoted exclusively to baby care. The company was named “Chicco”, after the affectionate nickname of his son Enrico. The quality of Chicco products built its reputation, and the brand quickly grew to become one of the largest baby gear brands in the world.
The brand set up the Chicco Observatory, a research centre dedicated mainly to understanding children's emotional, relational and psychophysical needs.
