En savoir plus

A group 1/2/3 car seat accompanies your child for several years with a single seat. Depending on the model, your child is first held by the built-in harness, then by the car’s seat belt once the seat switches to booster mode. Discover these convertible seats, available in Morocco.

How do you choose a convertible car seat?

  • The usage range: from 9 to 36 kg for an R44/04 group 1/2/3 seat, or a height range in centimetres for an i-Size (R129) seat. Some models start earlier: read the product page.
  • Switching from harness to seat belt: find out when and how the harness is removed or stowed, according to the instructions.
  • Adjustments: height-adjustable headrest, recline for journeys when your child falls asleep, and easy-to-reach belt guides.
  • Installation: ISOFIX, top tether or seat belt depending on the model. Check compatibility with your car.
  • Size: a convertible seat stays in the car for a long time; measure the available space and consider its weight if you change cars.

Key points for choosing well

  • i-Size standard (R129): the seat is chosen according to the child’s height, for example 76 to 150 cm.
  • Harness, then seat belt: the harness holds the child up to a certain height, then the car’s seat belt takes over.
  • ISOFIX with Top Tether: stabilises the seat; check that it suits your car.
  • Height-adjustable headrest: it adapts as your child grows.
  • 360° swivel seat: handy for putting your child in from the door side.
