Which nappies should you choose?

- Pull-up nappies: they slip on like underwear; they suit a child who wriggles a lot during changes or is starting potty training.
How to choose the right nappy size
- Weight, not age: each size covers a weight range printed on the pack; that is what counts.
- Overlapping ranges: a “size 3” does not cover the same range from one brand to another; compare kilos, not numbers.

Frequently asked questions
Which nappy size for a newborn?
The one whose range includes their birth weight. At Bambo Nature, size 1 shows 2 to 4 kg and size 2, 3 to 6 kg: a baby born at around 3 kg fits both ranges and moves to size 2 above 4 kg.
When should I move up a size?
Frequent leaks, red marks on the thighs or a nappy that is hard to fasten show it is time, as does a weight above the pack’s maximum. Where two sizes overlap, the larger one leaves more room.
Is an eco-friendly nappy used like any other?
Yes: the same choice of size by weight, the same way of putting it on. Follow the disposal instructions printed on the packaging.
What if the skin turns red under the nappy?
Change the nappy as soon as it is soiled and let the skin dry before putting on a new one. Redness that persists, spots or oozing call for advice from your paediatrician or pharmacist.
How many packs should I buy in advance?
Only a few at first: a newborn moves through sizes quickly, so one or two packs are enough before checking their weight. For a size not on the website, ask about availability on WhatsApp.
