Figures
A figure brings to life the stories your child invents: heroes' adventures, family scenes, battles on the living-room rug. At La Maison du Bébé, the kids' figures available in Morocco range from action characters to a little wooden family. To choose well, start from your child's age and how they like to play.
Which type of figure should you choose?
- Action heroes: for re-enacting a cartoon or a manga. Some models make sounds or include a launcher accessory: check the batteries and the instructions for use on the product page.
- Wooden character family: the Hape wooden doll family is perfect for games of house and little everyday stories.
- Animals and creatures: you'll find them in the neighbouring Animals, characters and mythical creatures category, within our pretend play range.
Useful things to check before you buy
- Age: always follow the age recommended by the manufacturer, especially when there are small parts or a projectile.
- Material: wood or plastic; check the composition stated on each product page.
- Size: compare the stated dimensions if you want to combine several characters in the same game.
- Features: sound, light or moving accessory; check what is actually included.
Frequently asked questions
Is a figure with a launcher suitable for a young child?
Follow the minimum age stated by the manufacturer. Teach your child never to aim at the face, and put the projectiles away after playing.
How can you make the game last longer?
Combine the characters with other pretend-play worlds: a makeshift house, a play tea set or a little theatre. Every new setting sparks the story again.
