Baby sleep: the safety rules

For the night and any unsupervised nap, health authorities recommend laying baby on their back, flat, in a cot with no pillow, duvet or cot bumper. Sleep positioners, head supports, baby nests and inclined wedges must therefore only be used under adult supervision, within the age range stated by the manufacturer. If in doubt, ask your paediatrician for advice.
