In the early '80s, Avent introduced a baby bottle that quickly became a market reference. The innovation lay in the teat, made from tasteless, odourless silicone, with a softness that reminds baby of mum's breast. Designed by Avent's founder, Mr Edward, the innovation did not stop there: the bottle also has a wider neck, making it easier to clean. After establishing itself in baby feeding, Avent joined forces with Philips to become Philips Avent.
For more than 30 years, Philips Avent has been designing innovative solutions to make parents' lives easier, from baby's arrival to their first steps. Philips Avent's innovative baby products are developed with healthcare specialists.
In 1984, Philips Avent made its debut in feeding with the wide-neck baby bottle and a teat with a built-in anti-colic system. But 2013 marked the start of a new era, with the design and launch of the Natural bottle range, which strengthened the brand's standing in the world of baby care. This new bottle range from Philips Avent aims to be closer to natural sucking.
Philips Avent means:
Many innovative ideas to improve the comfort of babies and their parents
A strong commitment to research and development
A brand recommended by most healthcare professionals, and by mums
Philips Avent has partnered with the Collège National des Sages-Femmes (the French national college of midwives) to encourage breastfeeding.
The brand's products are recommended by healthcare professionals. All its feeding products and breastfeeding accessories have been designed with one goal: baby's well-being. Among the brand's flagship products are bottles that come as close as possible to natural sucking, teats suited to the child's age and needs, orthodontic pacifiers and breast pumps.
Philips Avent is not just about breastfeeding accessories: it also offers everything needed to ease the move to solid foods, such as food processors, steamer-blenders, mealtime sets, cups and training utensils. Philips Avent baby monitors reassure parents whenever baby is sleeping alone in their room. These safety products are designed to address all of parents' concerns.
Philips Avent provides parents with everything they need to give their child the very best. The full range of Philips Avent feeding products and breastfeeding accessories is available at La Maison du Bébé in Morocco.
In the early 1980s, Avent introduced a wide-neck baby bottle and a tasteless, odourless silicone teat. Later joined with Philips, the brand launched its Natural range in 2013, designed, it says, to be closer to natural sucking. Its products are developed with healthcare specialists.

Philips Avent is the baby care brand of the Dutch group Philips, dedicated to baby's feeding and well-being. Its speciality is breast and bottle feeding: baby bottles and teats, breast pumps, breastfeeding accessories, sterilisers and meal preparation products. The brand's most iconic range is Natural Response. According to Philips Avent, its teat only releases milk when baby sucks actively and adapts to their feeding rhythm, to come closer to the breastfeeding experience.
It comes in several flow rates, six in total, to follow the different sucking rhythms as the months go by. A version with the AirFree valve is designed, according to the brand, to reduce the air swallowed during feeds, and a glass version completes the range for parents who prefer that material. Newborn gift sets bring together the essentials to get started. Alongside its bottles, the brand also offers breast pumps, breastfeeding accessories and sterilisers, supporting parents with a consistent range during baby's first months, from the maternity ward to the first meals.
