About Jumbodiset

Jumbodiset refers to the alliance between the Spanish publisher Diset and the Dutch company Jumbo, brought together in 2016 under the JumboDiset Group banner. Diset was founded in Barcelona in 1971, while Jumbo was born in Amsterdam in 1853. When they joined forces, both companies were wholly owned (100 %) subsidiaries of JumboDiset, itself a subsidiary of the Dutch group M&R de Monchy. Today the group operates under the name Jumbo Group, which brings together five companies: Koninklijke Jumbo in the Netherlands, Diset in Spain, James Galt in the United Kingdom, Dujardin in France and Yulu in Hong Kong.

The group claims more than 170 years of history, over 2,500 active products and sales in more than 70 countries. Its catalogue covers board games, puzzles, educational games, arts and crafts, and toys for babies and young children, including wooden toys. Its brands include Goula, which specialises in wooden toys, as well as Party & Co, Stratego, Wasgij and I learn; Diset also publishes educational games under the Nathan licence. In terms of commitments, the group states that 718 of its products are FSC certified, that its entire supply chain is aligned with its supplier code of conduct, and that more than 6,000 trees have been planted to offset 1,914 tonnes of CO2 equivalent.
