Before first use, take apart and wash every part. Sit comfortably, centre the shield on the breast, start with short, quick pumps, then switch to longer, slower pumps once milk flows. The supplied shield is size B (25 mm): if it does not suit you, other sizes exist. After each session, wash the parts that touch milk. If you experience pain or cracked nipples, or have any doubts about your milk supply, ask a midwife, a lactation consultant or your doctor.
