It is the small size for the first weeks, made for parents who prefer a glass baby bottle to plastic. The vent works best in place but can be removed as baby's feeding develops, so you keep the same bottle instead of switching. Dr. Brown's states that its bottles are used in hospitals and NICUs.

Use and care tips

Before first use and after every feed, take all parts apart: nipple, collar, cap and vent system. The manufacturer allows the dishwasher (top rack only), electric or microwave sterilisers and boiling water. Use a suitable cleaning brush for the small vent channels.

Check the glass before each use and replace the nipple at the first sign of wear. Do not fill above the maximum line so the vent can work properly.
