Baby food storage

En savoir plus

Cooking ahead, taking a meal to the grandparents’ or on a walk: storage containers make organising your baby’s meals simpler. At La Maison du Bébé, in Morocco, you’ll find Babymoov Babybols, glass pots, insulated food jars and thermos flasks. The right choice depends mainly on your portions and your journeys.

Which container should you choose?

  • Babybols and storage pots: sold in packs, in one or more sizes, for storing portions in the fridge or freezer as stated on the product page. Babymoov also offers glass versions.
  • Insulated food jars: made of stainless steel, they help keep a meal hot or cold during transport, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Thermos flasks: for carrying a meal or a drink at the right temperature; some Miniland models come with an insulated pouch.
  • Insulated bags: for carrying several containers on outings.

What to check before you buy

  • Capacity: small pots for first portions, larger sizes as appetite grows.
  • Material: glass, stainless steel or another food-grade material; check the composition on the product page.
  • Approved uses: freezer, microwave, dishwasher, sterilisation: follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Leak-proofing and transport: tightly closed lid, pouch or insulated bag.
  • Storage: stackable pots or pots of the same size make organising the fridge easier.

Here you’ll find products from Babymoov, Badabulle, Miniland and Jané.

Frequently asked questions

How long can your baby’s homemade meals be kept?

Follow food hygiene rules and your paediatrician’s recommendations. Close the container tightly, chill it quickly and write down the date it was prepared.

Can a meal be reheated directly in the pot?

Only if the manufacturer allows it for that container. Always check the temperature before giving the meal to your baby.

Babybols or glass pots?

Compare the weight, durability and approved uses of each item: glass is well suited to reheating if the manufacturer allows it, while a lightweight pot is easier to carry.

All these containers are available in Morocco, with delivery across Morocco. To compare sizes, drop by our showroom in Casablanca (Maârif), or go back to our Baby tableware range.

Key points for choosing well

  • Choose the size according to age: small portions at the start of weaning, 250 to 300 ml later on.
  • BPA-free plastic or glass: glass doesn’t retain odours, plastic is lighter.
  • Airtight lid: essential for transport.
  • Graduations: handy for measuring portions.
  • Write the preparation date on each pot.

Your questions

How long can a homemade purée be kept?

Follow your paediatrician’s recommendations: in the fridge, use it quickly; in the freezer, it keeps longer. Label each pot with the date.

Glass or plastic pots?

Glass is durable and doesn’t retain odours; BPA-free plastic is light and unbreakable, handy for outings. Check on the product page whether it can go in the freezer and microwave.
