XL gates from 73 to 106 cm

Hallway, kitchen doorway or foot of the stairs: some openings are wider than a standard gate. This selection of XL safety gates, available in Morocco, brings together models for openings from 73 to 106 cm, to keep baby away from risky areas.

The models in this selection

• The Safety 1st auto-close gate: white, with a door that closes automatically after you pass through.
• The Badabulle Safe & Protect metal XL gate: a metal gate in XL size.

The width covered by each extendable safety gate, with or without extensions, is shown on its product page.

What to check before you buy

• Exact measurement: measure the opening at the bottom and the top, between the walls or posts, before choosing.
• Extensions: an extendable gate is widened with extensions from the same brand and range; check the maximum width allowed.
• Location: at the top of stairs, only choose a model and fixing method that the instructions allow for that location.
• Adult access: an easy-to-open door, or even an auto-close one, makes coming and going simpler.

Install the gate according to the instructions, check its fixing regularly and keep an eye on your child: a gate does not replace supervision.

Frequently asked questions

Is an XL gate suitable for a narrow opening?

Not always. Each gate has a minimum width: if your opening is narrower, compare the other width ranges available.

Can I add extensions from another brand?

No. Only use the extensions specified by the manufacturer for your model.
