About Quercetti

Quercetti is an Italian toy manufacturer founded in Turin in 1950 by Alessandro Quercetti. The company, whose registered name is Alessandro Quercetti & C. Fabbrica Giocattoli Formativi S.p.A., is 100 % family-owned and run by the second generation, Andrea, Alberto and Stefano Quercetti. It has remained in Turin since it was founded and is one of the few toy makers not to have moved its production to Asia: the brand states that all its toys are made in Italy.

Its best-known product is the mosaic peg game, launched in 1953 as Coloredo and sold as Fantacolor from 1984. The catalogue also includes Georello, a gear construction set, the Migoga marble runs, the Skyrail suspended track, Tubation construction tubes, pixel art games and toys for the first months. Two collections reflect its recent direction: PlayMontessori, which draws on the Montessori approach, and PlayBio, which according to the brand is based on a sustainable approach and non-toxic components. Quercetti has also launched the PlayEco+ line, made from recycled plastic collected from waste.
